Millington Mare was established in 2021 by Kendall Smith and has since been redesigned with a focused vision of creating handcrafted leather horse tack that blends quality, functionality, and style.

Kendall’s passion for horses began at just 8 years old, when she started riding and barrel racing. What started as a childhood love quickly grew into a lifelong dedication to the equestrian world.

The name Millington Mare holds deep personal meaning. It pays tribute to Kendall’s hometown of Millington, Tennessee, and to a remarkable horse who left a lasting impact — her 17.3 hand gray Percheron mare, Fairchance Daisy Laet, affectionately known as “Daisy Mae.” She remains the inspiration behind the brand’s name and spirit.

With firsthand experience as a rider, Kendall designs each piece with both horse and rider in mind, ensuring every item is thoughtfully crafted, functional, and made to last.

Outside of riding and leathercraft, Kendall loves spending time with her 2 daughters, and husband Michael, riding sxs's and relaxing with her huskies and chihuahua Maxwell.
